Thanks, Stuart, Found it and got it out. I was looking up on the top like it was in my Beetle tranny... The 5sp was in my van, which was converted from a WBX to an inline 4 gas motor by the PO. He must have found a diesel van to get the tranny from. It really is a great gearbox for me..As someone mentioned, going at a hill, I backshift from 5th at about 65 and I can hold that speed in 4th with no problem on all but the steepest hills. I rarely use the first gear, which is quite a "granny" ratio. That 1st is perfect for crawling up steep rough tracks or getting started on really steep hills.
