Subject: 84 West Wolfsburg (fuel injection or fuel pump?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Hi everyone,

My recently purchased 84 Westy Wolfsburg seems to have a case of the hiccups. I have noticed that she starts to "hiccup" after being driven for about an hour. I am not sure if this sudden loss of power is due to a fuel problem or something electrical. I have checked the plugs, adjusted the timing, checked fuel pressure and changed fuel filters. I know little about the fuel injection systems, but am beginning to think that I may have a bad injector? Can anyone shed some light on ways to check them or suggest other possible causes? Thanks so much for your time and knowledge!

All the best,
