Subject: Good Mechanics in NY? Engine Sound/Exhaust Loudness
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

Just wondering if anyone knows any good mechanics in NYC or Brooklyn NY? or Upstate NY near Middletown? I know there is D. Haynes in LI I am looking for someone in closer to where I am...

Also a question.. my 2.1 L automatic engine which is rebuilt and has 236K miles on it with a S&S Exhaust system seems very loud when compared to the same engine in a California weekender with stick and stock exhaust. Is the exhaust system that much more quiet then the S&S that it would seem like a big difference? Also his engine had his lifters worked on, it seemed super quite and powerful compared to my van.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Robert
