There used to be somebody out there that was offering a turn-key subie conversion not too long ago but I can't remember who they were. I have the chance to pickup an 85 westy with a bad engine, the rest of the bus looks to be in good shape. I love my 82 air-cooled westy but wouldn't mind having a little more juice for those long hauls to New Orleans to see the grandkids.
