Right on Don, yes, I'll bet that Wurth is great stuff. about 24 bucks a can I believe, online.

I recently discovered a very nice one I like - similar properties -a fine penetrating grease. LPS 2 - got it in a parts store - when I was looking for Prolong . like it a lot.

I use 3 things mainly- PB Blaster for busting the rust, wd-40 for electrical cleaning and fine lubing, ( I also use a real electrical contact cleaner too _ and a thicker penetrating grease , like the Wurth or LPS.

glad to hear you're lubing your fine rig ! ever do the forward white plastic tube the throttle cable runs in ? that can be very rewarding. I like to undo both ends...........blow it out with compressed air, shoot WD-40 into it from the rear end....... then spray lube the cable with something like your Wurth stuff as I feed the fowward end of the throttle cable back into the white plastic tube. and of course lube the bell crank pivot points at the front, and the pivot at the base of the gas pedal too. it all adds up ! scott turbovans
