Subject: Hey, put some lube on your suspension and steering...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

It did wonders for how my van handles. I lubed up all the bushings and ball joints of my 84 today while I was sliding around on my creeper changing trans oil and generally looking at stuff underneath. I used a spray lube on everything. Now someone will come back and say..."Oh, you shouldn't put______ on rubber" or "that will only draw dirt" or whatever, but that has never been my experience. Years ago, I worked a summer at the Ford plant and one of my jobs on the line was to spray all the suspension bushings with a silicone solution as the cars passed my line station. Gave me the idea.. I figure, if a part is where I can get it with a spray can, it's getting a hell of a lot worse crap all the time off the roads and highways...Like following a cattle drive for a few miles, or going across I-80 during a winter storm... Anyhow, I live in the Columbia River Gorge and this is the windsurfing season...My van gets these blasts of 60mph winds from all different directions, making it dart all over. Today after my suspension/steering "lube-job", the van was much easier to drive..And "men oh men" is the gearshifting slick now..
