Subject: Oil Paranoia - On Storage by the Tail light
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-15"

I'm completely terrified of getting stuck somewhere with no oil, and with my Subbievaroom ® I have some space behind the passenger tail light in the engine bay. Hence, I noticed that this space can reasonable, and easily, hold 6 quarts of oil. So the Question of the Day ® is can I safely store engine oil there, if held securely, even in (a) more acceptable containers? OR (Capital Or ®), will the storing of oil in this location degrade the oil, and render it unfit for engine consumption? Please let me know, platonically speaking.
