Hi Folks Back on the list for the English summer (!) Over the last few weeks I have fitted a new engine, and have now encountered a problem which I am sure you have all seen before but I am really struggling to get it fixed. I am trying to find out the fitting details for the distributor, I have checked the spark - ok, checked the points - ok, but the position of the distributor eludes me, and there are no pictures to look at to compare what I have with what it should look like. What is the best way to proceed apart from giving up and taking it to the garage (which I really don't want to do as I wanted to learn how to do all this stuff). It is now a bit of a retro fit, it has twin carbs (took out all the fancy fuel injection in preferencewith something I had an inkling of how to maintain) a 2 litre engine aircooled, and looks great - just cant get the thing to fire up! Any advice from you folks is more than welcome, the UK people aren't responding much! Happy travels Paul
