I just got back from driving the bus. It rolls along at 65 just fine. All the camper equipment has been remover full rear seat so lots of room. Two dents small ones no rust. Has a smell of gas so I guess lines will need to be replaced. But all in all seem fine he's asking $3k for it.

go with the gas...as the proud owner of a 1.9td van i gotta say you really need an engine that big to get you where you wanna go and your estimate is probably a little high for the installation but not by much. i average 27 mpg but you can buy a lot of gasoline for 3-4k.

I will take a look at it tomorrow see how it drives. I have been looking for a replacement for the 1.6 NA but the cost & really it needs the 1.9t + cost of installation is going run me over $4k. Also with the cost of diesel the few more miles per gal makes not to seem cost affective at this point. But I'm in CA & hope DMV don't not want to see the bus if so that's not going to work.

Any feed back from you all.

Chris
