Stick about 2 ounces of oil in the inlet of the condenser, 2ounces in the inlet of the evaparator,1 ounce in the dryer,2ouncesin various hose openings.

As for charging,download a pressure-temaprature chart. freeze12.com has a good one for r-12 and 134a that they use for comparisons.

I think that if your naked body was in the vacuum of outer space,it would boil and explode in about 60 seconds.Remember that scene in the movie 2001 where HAL had locked that guy out of the ship,and he didn't have a helmet?? He took his shot and gambled that he could do what he did in 30 seconds.Thats about how long a person could survive and he knew it.
