Brien; I just dropped a grand into my AC system... two days before the engine went : ( I read somewhere on the list last week or so one of those bits on information you only run across here: compressors have a shelf life of 18 months. I know that if they are not run during the winter, they seem to give a lot more trouble when the weather gets warm.
