Damon, I was just about to post the same thing. We had the same problem while working on my friend's '85 GL (thank you Roadhaus Pay it Forward Fund). As I understand it that part of the system is not under pressure - so we were thinking about using JB Weld or something similar to reattache the nipple. Either that or devise a way to install a small peice of copper pipe as a replacement. Either way I'd be interested in hearing other's ideas as well.
