I got mine repaired by Van-Cafe for $40 plus shipping a few months
back.  The even fixed and shipped it same-day since we were heading out
on a trip very soon after.

Money well spent, IMO.

Obviously YMMV, but mine reads almost dead on tested against GPS and a
few of those side-of-the-road speed checkers.
