Hey guy, thought you had an 84. that site says 'fits 85 to 91.. I like Van Cafe and recommend them, btw.

yeah, that's a "normal good Sach." they look very german but are made in mexico. I've used tons of them - they're fine.

there's some risk involved, but I can sell you a good used pressure plate and disc, even TOB. it will match your used piston and cylinder.

I do nto consider 1.9 and 2.1 clutches to be different, but Van Cafe does. they don't list one for an 83 to 85 1.9 Waterboxer Vanagopn ?

hey......I just relized I need to take this parts run up to Camas Wa, just east of Vancouver Wa and was wanting some excuse to go over to the east side.......... would be about late next roughly. I'd give you a free diangonsis and if we are taking good used clutch parts, I'd hand them over in person more inexpensively than I would than if I shipped them.

it's always better to take things apart before getting the parts. 60 % of the time you get something yuou don't need that way, or the wrong thing, or not everything ..........inspection first is the safest way.

and you can do it by taking out the engine, but the easier way is to just remove the transmission, and leave the engine right there, supported of course - I just lay a 2X 4 across the forward part of the engine comparment opening, and run hefty ropes around the bell housing area of the engine to hold up that end of it while the trans is out.
