Subject: slow leak at the front cv boots
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all: about to travel 2000 miles and just noticed a little fluid leak at both front cv joints. I noticed the leak at the nut on the passenger side cv so I tightened it and that seems to have stopped it (for now, will check again after today's drive). At the driver side cv the leak was slightly less and I tightened the nut there too. Should I be concerned about this? Is this transmission fluid? When is too much leakage too much? Thanks, JD
