I would waste your valuable time messing with the repair unless you
love to tinker around. Send to Van-Cafe for a repair.
I had mine stop working a over year ago, got it back and works great,
I reset mine all the time while the van is moving less that 20mph with
a light touch and it still works great. The speedo needs fine tuning
but always has, it 10MPH less what I actually do but it works great.
