I don't think WVO is going to be a long term good idea. Aside from the technical complexities it adds, bio-diesel has gone mainstream. Restaurants can now sell their waste oil instead of giving it away or paying to have it hauled off.

The days of really cheap/free waste vegetable oil are numbered.
