I try to drive at around 3K, which comes in at between 50 and 55 mph. On the open road I can get over 20 mpg, but it's never gotten as high as 25! My average is not quite 22. But I keep babying the throttle and drive ahead, avoid jack-rabbits, etc. It works.

How long have 'they' been suggesting a general slow-down?... :)

Matt
