I'm in the middle of doing my expansion/gas tank thing.

FWIW, I found that an expansion tank from an '85 fit my '81. That might open up some years to choose from if you bought a used part.

Maybe you could find two used tanks AND valves for less than $30. --- :^)

PS. I also have found that the standard size (Vanagon) FI hose fits nicely over the plastic hose and onto the nipple on expansion tank valve. It appears to make a nice repair, should you find yourself ignorantly cutting the plastic hose lenghtwise a little (to remove hose from valve nipple), then trying to refit it, only to find that the hose keeps splitting!

Don't ask me how I know! --- ;^)
