Thanks for the info Mike.

I'm still curious as to why VW used braided hose - metal hose - braided hose, instead of a continuous piece of hose from each vent.

Like, why put in those metal pieces of hose?

(2 of which, on my Westy, were severely clogged with rust! --- ;^)
