I have a Dennis Haynes receiver hitch on my 88 GL. It's great. To install it you must remove and modify the rear bumper just a bit, but it is relatively easy. And, you have to permanently remove the rear steel tow/tiedown loops that are bolted in, but that is no big deal. You first mount the bumper to the receiver hitch and then mount the receiver hitch to the frame of the van. I have two addresses for Dennis Dennis Haynes <dhaynes@OPTONLINE.NET> and Dennis Haynes <d23haynes57@HOTMAIL.COM> John Rodgers 88 GL Driver Jamie Fitterer wrote: > I am looking for suggestions on a receiver hitch package for my 84 Westy. I am trying to tow my drift boat and think taht total weight is only 700 and would not want to pull more than that. > > any thoughts, suggestions or warnings welcome. > > |
