I have used POR 15 with great success and even my local body shop suggests it. They do however recommend skipping the POR and sandblasting and starting with bare metal and properly sealing the back of the panels. One of the key adversaries to POR 15 is sunlight. It is not UV stable and will quickly deteriorate in sunlight. Topcoating it is a must if it is going to spend any time in the sun. . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Max Wellhouse" <dimwittedmoose@CFU.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, June 29, 2008 3:58 AM Subject: Is there anything better than POR-15 Out there??
