Wow. Do you have any idea exactly how locking the rear brakes on the passat caused the van to turn into the ditch? Glad neither of you were hurt. That could have been really bad with the illegal towing operation and insurance not covering liability for injured or dead people. A good reminder to those of us who sometimes try to save a little $ and risk a lot more. Edward
