Rita & I got back from the Quebec Club's Quebec City Grande Rendezvous last night around 9 pm. It was so rainy & cold we decided to leave after the brunch, a day early. There were some 230 vans registered when we left. Not nearly the 400 they were hoping for, but still an awesome number of Westys parked in a parking lot ! The 15th anniversary party ~ brunch Sunday morning was crowded with folks getting in out of the rain. Nice birthday party for the largest VW Westy Club in the world. It was good to be a part of it and see a glimpse of Quebec City. You HAVE to go see the movie show of Ropert LePage on the Bunge Silos. We saw that with our friend Jean Benoit Thursday evening. Friday turned into the only nice sunny warm day which we spent wandering around the old walled part of the city then took the diner river cruise with the Club on the Louis Joliet. Saturday we tried to go out and about but got caught in the cold rain and finally made it back to the camper where we stayed for the night watching a DVD to keep out of the pouring rain ! Sunday we packed up in the pouring rain, went to the brunch and left for home afterwards.

Many thanks to the Club members that worked so hard to put this event on, great job, all of you !

See the _Club international de camping-car Westfalia_ (http://www.westfalia.qc.ca/) website for pics & details that will be posted soon.

Cheers,
