Over in Hood River there's a white syncro that seems in fine shape, FS.
It's listed on the Samba, didn't go check on the price recently, but I'd
check it out for any lister interested, since it is in my neighborhood.
It's been on the market since last fall, I think.  I talked to the guy who
owns it just in passing..he also owns a Westie 2wd.  Jim's question about
the FS Van near Roseburg brought this one to mind.
  On another subject:  I saw a Sprinter during our recent (past weekend)
heat wave here.  It was all 'tarted-up' with racks, rooftop air, ladders,
external propane, etc etc and badged "Airstream"...hmmm.  I guess the funded
motorhome crowd is getting smarter, except...This one was parked on the
mainstreet (?) of Bingen, Wa. and all locked up tight with the auxiliary
generator on and the air conditioner running..no one inside..What a waste
and pretty rude, locking up your RV with the generator on in the center of a
town.
  Bet the Airstream/Sprinter would give a Go Westy camper a run for most
expensive per square foot...
