When you roll , try using a slight twist on the handle to make the roller apply a tiny bit more pressure to one side. If you do this, the "roller line" will only be on one side. You can roll right over that line with the next path of the roller.and get a smooth, unblemished finish. Professional painters use this method on houses, and I don't see why it won't work on a westy.
