Hi all.

I might have solved two problems at once. (CMP sensor and engine not shutting down after warming up)

As they say, "all it takes was one" --- ;^)

Tip:

To save removing your newly installed wiring harness and having to tear away miles of electrical tape:

BEFORE you wrap it all up, just wind a couple wraps of tape around each section of the harness every 8" or so. Makes handling easier, but leaves it open for trouble shooting/reworking.

If, like me, this isn't your forte (wiring), you will miss something. Like this:

I'm pretty sure this created the "no shut down" issue after running for a while. (wire is + from 15, ign +, to ECU. Part of same supply goes to the coil)

I will post more of what I learned regarding wiring harnesses on my web site.

Cheers,

Neil.
