As the previous comment: If you can't fiddle it with a pin, the button is stuck in the depressed mode. You can take it apart. I did it once. Very carefully. The clock is mounted on a crappy little circuit board, and the crappy little buttons will fall right out onto your carpet or into the steering column or...oops. You follow me. Have a bright light in the cabin, and someone else to watch, and some patience. There is no magic, the button is just shifted into a position that won't let it come up.

Every Fall and Spring, I reset my clock for PST/PDT, with great trepidation.

No ideas on a fix, but my clock does exactly the same thing.
