RE: Dometic R182 into no-camper I've been watching this thread and have to jump in to second several of the remarks, especially the politely stated "Why would you want to do that?" responses. The 182 three way is a good unit and I've had good experience with them when working right. But I've switched to a 12v DC fridge (Norcold DC0040) and never looked back. But if I had a non camper I was converting I'd look at the stand alone 12v DC refrigerators like the Isotherm or Engel. All you need is an aux battery setup.
