Well, not exactly, I have all the rods in Stainless Steel, see my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) webpage and will soon have a replacement muffler bracket that will resemble and replace the OEM one. Stay tuned.......an announcement will be made to the List when it's ready for sale.

AND, those push rod tube tins are still available from VW. Get 'em before they go obsolete ! I know, EXPENSIVE, but where else you gonna get 'em ? I POR-15 them which lengthens their life considerably but not perfectly as it's near impossible to get the POR-15 in between the two stupid layers of metal, why they built them that way will always be a mystery unless we can find the design engineer at VW who came up with that plan ! Also the tabs at the exhaust stud mounts will not stay POR-15ed for long and getting the POR-15 to adhere to the new galvanized or whatever it is metal they are made from is a tough nut to crack. I've found sanding them rough or sandblasting them helps considerably. Shooting Krown rustproofing oil in between the two layers seems to help also.
