Hi William,

AFAIK it takes energy to pry a water molecule apart into two hydrogen and one oxygen molecules.

If (and it's a really, really big if) someone has developed a catalyst to do this without requiring extra energy then we can sleep easy tonight, the energy crisis is officially over. As vanagon owners we should be a little concerned; there won't be any reason to drill for oil once this device reaches the mass market.

That looks like a perpetual motion machine to me. The website does virtually nothing to explain the mechanism involved; I think it's snake oil.
