Since I posted my craigslist ad for our passenger van with cracked heads (plug: http://cnj.craigslist.org/car/738381653.html make me an offer!) I've received lots of responses from people that will tow it away at their expense for $400 and sound like they are just planning on scrapping it. It only makes sense to me if they are getting at least $600 for their troubles.

I hope a vanagon person will want our van so we don't have to scrap it. Otherwise, anybody want to venture a guess how many miles I'll be able to drive to the scrapyard with a cracked head and steam blowing out the back?
