Hi Tom
On my sprinter I can find anything that says dodge except the hubcaps, some stick on labels, grill and decals. Everything and I mean Everything has a Mercedes star on it. door panels, Glass, decals on the body, and stampings, as well as everything drive line. From what I was lead to understand is that they are completely made in germany shipped in pcs to the US and assembled here. There are a had full of chrysler items that are done that way.
But hey what do I know. At one time you could get the Frieghtliner logo as well. But there was a falling out with that venture so now it is Dodge or Mercedes. I think it was a way to not pay import taxes since it was shipped into the US as parts not a vehicle.
all in good fun. c-ya Jonce

I believe the body is made by Dodge, only the drive train is by MB?
