As long as you have or are willing to pay for a 2.1 exhaust system, then
keep the 2.1 cooling system. it was a better design, and has the engine oil
cooler.

Or the solution with the newest parts? The cooling hoses, however numerous,
on the 2.1L are 5 years younger.
