bit tricky to follow you,
and..........yes one of two oil pressure switches is in the oil cooler area.
On the underside of the engine, just forward of the oil filter - there's a
shiny metal cover that covers the pushrod tubes.
One of the oil pressure siwthces, the 'normal' low pressure one , is between
two push rod tubes, which is clearly viible once that cover is off.
the 'worst' part about that cover is that at the top it's securred under
exhaust port bolts or nuts, which can sometimes be very rusted in place.
( going back together I often notch the top brackets so a bolt doesn't have
to be fully removed to get the cover bracket off and on the exhaust bolt or
nut )
I never see these oil pressure switches leaking, but it's possible.
it also might not be screwed in tightly enough.
or any of the 8 ends of the 4 push rod tubes could be leaking,
or a push rod tube itself could be leaking.
and don't overlook the valve cover gasket there either of course !
perhaps that's all it is .
