Bob, On my situation with similar symptoms, it was the switch wiring harness getting in the way of rail that holds the glass as it passes. I replaced the broken zip ties that hold the harness close to the inner sheetmetal shell and problem went away. If you're window is "droopy" you may want to check if the glass have come off the regulator.
