Ok,
This may sound a little wacky but I met this guy on a recent trip to
LA, CA and he told me that he was putting this system in his Land
Rover his friend put in based on this website Water4Gas.com.
He tells me that its creates a type of Hydrogen Gas that comes from a
Jar filled with Water and baking soda, the gas escapes and goes into a
tube into the air flow intake system. Now I am explaining this in the
most rudimentary way... You have to read the site to get the full grasp.
In the end he tells me his friend is seeing like a 20 MPG gain since
installing this strange device. No he also tells me that another
friend put one in his Honda and saw no results, his thing was that it
takes experimentation in the setup before it gets dialed into your
vehicle to see results.
Does anyone know of this system? Has anyone tried it? head anything?

They guy who runs the Water4gas site has one person who claims:
77% better mileage - Volkswagen Bora 1.9 Liter TDI (Turbo Diesel)
using a single cell
"For my vw bora 1.9 TDI I'm passed from 25.9 liter / 296 km at 15.5 /
313 km"
Supposedly Stan Meyer one of the main inventors was poisoned to death.
He was offered a billion dollars from the Arab Oil Corporations to buy
his invention, which he said no, "this if for the people". The gov't
sent an army general to witness the technology for use in tanks and
other vehicles to which he was supposedly working with them after the
meeting.
I am just wondering if anyone has even discussed building one for the
vanagon?
