Why not: becasue hot air rises and cold air drops. Next time ou get a beer from the fridge, sit on the floor when you open the door.

Gotta blow the cold air hard enough from under the back seat to get cold air to the windsheild.

Ultimately, Jeff has the right idea and Stacy mentioned to use the Air Cooled model van ducting.
