Subject: C Pillar Wiring - is this possible?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-15"

I have a Solar Panel, and someone started wiring it for me. The wires go through the ceiling above the front passenger seat, just in front of the B pillar (and in front of that first dentation on the ceiling). They are then routed to the interior light just behind the C pillar. Pulling out that air vent in front of the C Pillar it looks that it isn't possible to push the wire down the C pillar.. I can hear it scraping a bottom in this area with no down to go ... They drilled a hole to get past this area (or else the hole was already there), hence the wire is now sticking out the interior light.

So if a hole is somehow made at the top of the C pillar (on the passenger side), can the wire then be routed down the C Pillar, or are there more obstructions? I went by the dealer, and they said EKTA wouldn't show this.

Another path I might be able to take is to push wire back to the speakers in the AC housing. I can push the wire pretty deep towards that area, but then it stops. However, it looks like the speaker wire go back this direction (which can be seen behind the rear interior light, just behind the C Pillar).

I was going to remove the speakers to take a peak, but ran out daylight, plus security was starting to wonder why I was still at the VW Dealership hours after they had closed...

Perhaps I can push wires from the speaker area, and then out the interior light by the C pillar, and then tape these wires to my solar panels wires, and then pull the wires back to the speaker... The goal is get the ends of the wires to under the rear seat on the drivers side.
