I agree with Mark. To date I have sold 7 Syncro rolling chassis to aid the process. I have two available now in good condition, need some bodywork and seam attention. Much less work than the swap.

Where are you located?

Lots of people have done this. It is not simply a matter of bolting the Syncro stuff in, some items need to be fabricated and/or modified. There is no turning back as structural parts must be cut off the front undercarriage of the 2wd to make room for the Syncro front suspension assembly to bolt on. No way should you attempt this for the first time without both vans side by side during the ENTIRE process unless you already know both models inside and out underneath. Some have done it with no welding but some welding is helpful.

I think it is a great idea for those with the skills and time to complete the project. This is the kind of thing that most people would fail at and it would be a shame to kill 2 vehicles and then not end up with something special at the end.
