Small aricraft have had that for years. the Yoke pivots over to the other side of the cockpit. both sides of the cockpit have their own rudder pedals though. Airplanes are flown more with the hands than the feet, compared to cars. I always wanted to make a car with full dual controls, like for desert racing say - you just hand off control to the co-driver without breaking stide.
