I even contacted the Israeli manufacturer of this tub, but they are not available in Australia. I looked hard and wide for an alternative here but could find nothing with the appropriate curvature, flat bottom etc and made out of suitable material . . so . .

I used a 500mm length of 55mm OD PVC plumbing pipe that I had laying around. I cut it in half lengthways and using a heat gun, softened part of the tube and flattened it so I had a 45degree curve attached to a flat strip. I measured up the length of the hole in the panel, at each end of the PVC, cut through the curved part of the half pipe to the right length, flattened out the last 50mm or so (as required) of the plastic and then bent it over at right angles so it contacted the curved end of the piece. I then cut and filed it to the right size to match the curve. I used a gap-filling PVC adhesive I had (for plumbing applications) and glued the bent over flap onto the curved end of the piece. When it was thoroughly dry/set, I repeated the same at the other end. When finished, I sanded down the corners to smooth them and used a flat black paint inside and out. I decided one scoop was enough as my air inlet was below the corner panel and I wanted air blowing down onto it.

This job probably took longer than cutting up kitty's litter box, but looks and works fine. I COULD have sharpened the leading edge of the scoop a little so it was more aerodynamically pleasing, but time was short. I might yet do so.

The scoop fits so snugly that I didn't need to screw or fix it - it has stayed put for 2000km so far, wedged in by the existing grille.

It LOOKS like a bought one.
