I'll be curious to know how much of a difference the city water fan makes. I know a list member (Mark Drillock?) has installed one and has seen improvements.

The sensor on the aluminum cooling unit slides in a groove on the back. There is a piece of rubber (silicone?) that holds it in the correct position. I *think* this sensor is supposed to contact the aluminum.
