<font face="Century Gothic">In my 88 this was the pop rivet coming out
of the window regulator. It eventually allowed the cable to snag -
which required a new window regulator.<br>
Someone once posted a recommendation to replace the pop rivets with
nuts and bolts to avoid this failure.<br>
