So anyhow, are those tops that go up equally at all four corners (whatever they are really called) and that look to cover only the 'floor space' part of a Vanagon, are those ever found used? Anybody have any info on those or a place to find out..like weight, etc? I've seen a few, sometimes on other type vans, too, and they look like they might suit my needs better than the whole Westy top. It'd be nice to stand straight up inside my "faux-Westie" 84 converted passenger van..and to have some additional ventilation at times, but I don't want the extra 'bunk' nor the windage and weight of a full westie top. Plus it looks like cutting a hole for the smaller type top would be less likely to cause problems than trying to retro-fit a whole Westy set-up. Anyone have any info or sources of pics of those tops?
