I'm sure you realize this, but this "proven" part is obviously what I don't agree with. Where is the proof? We here about it from somebody who knows someone who says it works? If that's how easy it was to convince me of rather unusual claims, I'd believe all sorts of crazy things that don't make sense.

You say your brother gets a 30% increase in mileage. You should be able to at least subject this to a reasonable preliminary test. What kind of car is it? What's the EPA mpg rating on the highway? What's the capacity of the gas tank? Multiply those two numbers together, multiply the result times 130%, pick two cities where the shortest route between them is that distance apart, and see if your brother can make it from one to the other averaging at least 50mph and without filling up in between. This should be no problem if this stuff is for real.

Right now, I (like most people on this list) have no reason to listen seriously to the claims of the water4gas people. Everything about their claims/tactics/image screams scam. And they make a really extraordinary claim. And have gone through no extraordinary trouble to offer any really good independently verified evidence of their claims. And they act like this is not a problem.

If I saw some evidence that turned my head (like the drive I mention above, verified by some sort of third party), then there would be more reason to take an interest. Then it really might be reasonable to think that something extraordinary could be going on.
