the west top would be worth more, if you ever sell it. personally........... i just like the extra head room of a westy top. if I do camp and put up the top, I just use it to throw stuff up there. never wanted to sleep up there, though peolple do.

the way the westy top hinges at the back, and goes way up in front - there's a lot of volume in the middle of the van above your head. you can wave your hands over your head if you want. it's a long way to the very top in the middle of the van.

since you mentioned aero - see my other post about the Adventurewagen hi-top. The only penalty on that setup is not being able to get into low garages - otherwise it's really very good.
