if you're referring to something in the picture - that's dozens and dozens of emails ago and hard to find - the original post with the pic.
if you are referring to what I just commented on ........
there are just 3 branches to the T of course .............the one to the gizmo, which you'll block off or as you say, replace with a straight piece..........
one engine goes to the intake plenum , and the other goes all the way forward.
the other poster mentioning that that vaccum line may also go to clutch and brake switches.........good thinkin' there ! ...
if that's the case........remove those too, and cap off as neccesary.

one end is connected to the middle part of the intake manifold system........the other end goes all the way forward to the Vaccum Brake Booster above the pedals in front.
just cap off the T to the gizmo and you'll be done with that part, or at least functional without the gizmo being there.
Unless I have a future planned use, I don't like things that don't have a function on the engine or van.

So the hose from the intake manifold that the booster pump is teed in to is
a brake vacuum line then? Any idea what the other line does or goes?
