Subject:      Rubber hose on fuel filler neck

Is the hose near the top of the Vanagon fuel tank filler neck (the rubber
part that connects it to the filler-cap receptacle) a particular "part" or
can it be replaced by a piece of hose  folks?  At 26 years old, mine is a
little the worse for wear.
What have people replaced theirs with?
