Thanks Frank, I missed that part number!

So how do you replace the fuzz strip? Looking at it, it appears you would need to remove and disassemble the window. If you say it is 'easily replaceable', though, I must be missing something.

But... after some more looking I am now thinking that, though toast, the fuzz strip is not my problem anyhow, but instead the "guide bushing" 281847723B. Those are both missing from the rattling window, but not missing from the not rattling window. This appears from the ETKA illustration to be a very small part... but does it just slide in from the end, or do you need to somehow remove the window from the channel?

The fuzzy strips have a very hard backing. So, you can use a small pick to get them moving in the track then grab the end and pull. Maybe you will need to remove the slider window, I don't remember but it seems as tho that's what I did. Those plastic end caps on the bottom rails just push in there and many of them are now falling out. I would glue them in there with some black RTV silicon so they stay there. They need to be removed to get the slider out of it's track. Move the slider to the centre of the track and pry it out. You may need to jack the track apart a bit using some wooden posts that are a bit longer than the opening, jam them in there, and that will pry open the frame to get the slider out, lift up and out at the bottom.
